What is Lucky Star?
Lucky Star Tokens is an interactive experience designed to bring a sense of play and connection to your event. Our refurbished vintage vending machine blends seamlessly into any space, while creating moments your guests will remember long after the day is over.
It’s a new take on the traditional favor; a Token of Love for guests to engage with, collect, and keep.
Guests insert a coin and push it in, then are greeted with one of our custom illustrated keepsakes. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to reflect your celebration, creating small moments of surprise and interaction throughout the event.

Hi, I’m Shilo
i’ve always loved creating. painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, photography… if there’s a medium, i’ve tried it. for a long time I imagined becoming a children’s book illustrator or starting a greeting card business. i’ve always loved creating for other people, and i’ve always been a collector. stickers, ticket stubs, wristbands, parking passes, little ephemeral objects with memories attached. if something means anything to me, there’s a good chance it ends up in a box under my bed.
i graduated from the university of pittsburgh, with a degree in digital narrative and interactive design, where I spent a lot of time studying storytelling, interaction, design, and the way people move through experiences.
as life moves online, i’ve found myself craving the things i can really hold onto. printed photos, journals, snail mail, magnets… things that we can touch and look at that remind of us something important.
lucky star was created from the desire to tie those things together. illustration, interaction, and moments that people get to experience together and talk about years down the line ⋆｡°✩
